Taking a break from our regular work is, in part, designed to make us enjoy that same work even more. Why do we keep jumping on the spinning hamster wheel? Some things we just have to learn on our own.
We try so many things to help ourselves slow the pace so we can act out of mindfulness rather than our ill-fated, knee jerk reactions. God lovingly drums out a rhythm, a way for us to rest, recuperate and relish Him and His creation.
