In The Name of Love.

Stop! Love is not a chemical reaction or an emotion or even the universe acting on our behalf, but a divine being who is love and acts in love, all the time! For us to love well, we must first embrace God’s love.

Serpents and Doves. Fire Service and the Refugee Crisis.

We cannot turn a blind eye to the needs of the refugee, just as a firefighter won’t ignore the dispatch tones. But we must do it with wisdom, so we can live to rescue another day.

I’m So Exhausted, And What You Can Do To Help!

Thistles.

The Elusiveness of "Why?"

For many of us, we never know the heart-satisfying reason why things happen, especially debilitating events. The answer to, "Why did this happen?" escapes us. Yet, in the midst of the elusiveness of "why?" we're called to a noble task.

Wandering Blogs

My wanderings tend to be more intentional than not. In them, sometime purposefully other times not, I learn and grow. Through both pain and joy, my wanderings have taught me something valuable that I wish to pass on to you. I've turned all of this into what I affectionately call, Wandering Blogs. Enjoy!
