There’s a wound in the human heart that isn’t self-healing producing anxiety, broken relationships, and damaged lives
Our culture is losing its grip on the value of real, human, interaction and community, even casually. Focused more on self - even in the name of justice - we've reduced people to simple objects.
The greatest present you can give to anyone is your presence. Being in the moment, listening and paying attention tells others that you give a flip. It sends the signal that they are important and that they are worth your care.
What if our space exploration is really a faith search?
There is absolutely no slowing the pace of society. But there is a way to find our own rhythm amidst a crazy culture hell-bent on performance and achievement.
To truly live, we have to live in community! It's like a fresh stream of water flowing into a pond. Without it, stagnation occurs and it's only fit for frogs! You're far more than a frog!
All of us might not want community, but we need community! Some call it friendship, others may call it fellowship, but no matter what we call it, we need it! Will you sit at the counter with me?
