To expect our bodies and minds to recuperate with little sleep, caffeine induced productivity and constantly working 7 days a week is expecting, even demanding, that God perform a miracle, weekly. It’s irresponsible.

Just like an umbrella or awning, authority is designed to take the brunt of the storm for the benefit of others. Fold up an umbrella and apart from it being a mediocre jousting tool or walking stick, it’s pretty useless...Collapsed authority is of no benefit to anyone. It fails to fulfill the purpose for which it was given.
Rest, or sabbath, is a nonnegotiable with God because He cares so deeply about us and craves the very best for us! But, are you courageous enough to do what it takes?
