I don't venture into the political or controversial realms in my writings. I intentionally chose a different tack several years ago and I've stuck to it. But I feel something deep and very personal in this.
It’s not always clear when a person’s heart and spirit are burned. Living outside of our God-designed rhythm is a disservice to others and to ourselves. Sometimes, we do such a thorough job of covering it up, by the time the symptoms appear, they're way beyond the burn.
